David Kalbeitzer is an award-winning producer, filmmaker, entertainment executive, and researcher whose distinguished career spans Hollywood, animation, visual effects, immersive entertainment, and the investigation of unexplained phenomena.

A graduate of Boston University with degrees in Film and Psychology, Kalbeitzer began his career in the entertainment industry working with major studios including DreamWorks Animation and Sony Pictures Imageworks. His production and visual-effects credits include The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Open Season, Surf’s Up, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Amazing Spider-Man, Hotel Transylvania, and Turbo. His experience encompasses animation, visual effects, digital production, and executive-level creative management.

In 2015, Kalbeitzer joined Walt Disney Imagineering, ultimately serving as Vice President of the Global Digital and Media Production Studio. In this senior leadership position, he oversaw live-action production, animation, visual effects, interactive media, gaming, and sound design for Disney Parks, Resorts, and attractions worldwide. Among the major immersive projects with which he was associated were Avatar: Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as other technologically advanced Disney experiences.

While building his career in mainstream entertainment, Kalbeitzer maintained a parallel and deeply personal interest in the unexplained. For approximately three decades, he has investigated and documented UFO/UAP phenomena, paranormal experiences, and questions surrounding consciousness. His work has brought him into contact with researchers, experiencers, scientists, journalists, filmmakers, and others attempting to understand phenomena that challenge conventional understanding.
